Podcasts I Listen To: Part Three

Better Call Saul Insider Podcast

A podcast that only comes around every time there is a new season of Better Call Saul. Featuring a rotating group of the show's cast and crew, they congratulate each other on how great a job a particular person did on that week's episode! They also talk about making the show sometimes. This is not must listen audio but it's worth hearing. Especially when they actually talk about the show and the production aspects. Better Call Saul has been one of the best things on TV for awhile now so this podcast is a nice listen after each episode.

Jamie Kilstein Podcast / A Fuckup’s Guide to Self-help

Hosted by comedian / Brazilian Jiu Jitsu brown belt Jamie Kilstein this podcast recently pivoted from being about politics to focusing on self improvement. This is my other most forward looking to (what?) podcast. Sometimes Jamie will do an interview with a cool guest, and sometimes he will get distracted and go on a hilarious tangent in the middle of giving important life advice but we still love him for it.

Grounded Podcast

Another podcast with Jocko and Echo! This time all about Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and grappling. Topics such as wrestling vs jiu jitsu are covered in depth and episodes are released around once a month. Guests have included Leah Taylor and Dean Lister.

Rear Naked Radio

Another BJJ podcast but this one is quite different. Hosted by Jamie Kilstein and Because Jitsu creator Drew Weatherhead less focus is put on taking about an upcoming fight / just chatting and instead light is put on the human aspects of Jiu Jitsu. Interviews with people such as Claudia Do Val, Keenan Cornelius, and Robert Drysdale have given listeners insight into what it's like to be a top competitor.
